How to set up your P1 Meter

Follow these steps to connect your P1 Meter to your smart meter and start tracking your energy usage in minutes.

Before you begin: Contact your local electricity grid provider (in Lithuania, this is ESO) to obtain permission to access your Smart Meter. Also verify that your Wi-Fi signal reaches the meter location. Device dimensions: 15 mm H × 40 mm L × 20 mm W.
1

Connect the P1 Meter to your smart meter

Insert the P1 device into your smart meter's P1 port. The port is typically located on the front or side of the meter, under a small plastic cover.

2

Check the LED indicator

After connecting, look for a blue LED light on the device. If no light appears, connect the device to USB power using the included cable. If it remains unlit, contact our support team.

3

Download the AmpereLink app

Download the AmpereLink application from Google Play (iOS support coming soon). Search for "AmpereLink" in the store.

4

Create your account

Open the app, create a new AmpereLink account or sign in if you already have one.

5

Add your device

From the app's home screen, tap Add device to begin the pairing process.

6

Grant permissions

Allow location and nearby devices permissions when prompted. These are required for the initial pairing only and can be revoked from your phone settings afterwards.

7

Enter your pairing code

Input the pairing code printed on the back of the device and on the packaging box.

8

Connect to Wi-Fi

Select your home Wi-Fi network and enter your password. The device will connect and the LED will turn green once successfully paired. You'll also see a success message in the app.

You're all set!

Once connected, your AmpereLink app will start showing real-time electricity consumption data. You can track live usage, view daily costs, check Nord Pool electricity prices, and set up notifications — all from your phone.
